About Us:
We are a leading NYC post-production rental facility. We offer hi-def and
standard-def, offline and online Avid and Final Cut Pro rentals, deck
rentals, and shared storage solutions including Avid Unity and ISIS, Facilis
Terrablock and EditShare. In addition to delivering, installing, and
supporting rental equipment on location, we have three buildings and over
60,000 square feet of edit suites and production space in midtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Avid Unity tech support for both in-house, on phone, and in-field 24/7
tech support.
- Knowledge and experience of Avid Unity installation and troubleshooting
is a must.
- In addition to Avid tech support, the person may be required to perform
Unity installations on site and occasional chassis swaps.
- Some heavy lifting required in the case of chassis swaps etc.
- Calmly operating within a fast-paced, action-packed working
environment.
- Ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a friendly and
organized manner
Requirements:
- Candidate must have 1+ years of experience with Avid Unity, Media
Composer and Symphony tech support.
Bonus Points:
- AVID ACSR
- Avid ISIS experience
- High Def Broadcast Deck troubleshooting and support. Formats include
HDCAM SR, HDCAM, XDCAM HD, DVCPRO HD and more...
- Apple Final Cut Pro tech experience.
- Facilis Terrablock tech experience.
- EditShare tech experience.
- 3+ years experience of full time Avid and Final Cut Pro tech support.
- Past experience at a NYC post production facility.
- IT support experience.
