Re: [Avid-L2] XDCAM HD for Sony Vegas

Use media composer to export the clips to an XDCAM device, then it may work.
Setup a blank external drive with XDCAM folder structure then Avid will see
it as an XDCAM device. There were some details about that in the list a
while ago. There is details and a link in the Virtual XDCAM post on my
website.

XDCam HD 50MB. All of our decks are hooked up to FCP systems, so when it's
loaded into FCP, I can't open those MXF files in Media Composer or Vegas
unless
I do an export using the Sony XDCam option in the export menu. It's just a
re-wrap, so it is fast.
