Re: [Avid-L2] Symphony owners?

I ask for your patience in advance, since this post was directed at owners. While I don't own a Symphony, it's extremely important to my bottom line, and I feel that many editors have some vested interest in its continued development and improvement.

It seems inarguable that a roadmap for the product is quite necessary, but do you really feel that in its absence you would be better off downgrading to MC? If so, you must have some third party color solution in mind. As superannuated as the Symphony color interface is, it's still exponentially more powerful than that of MC, unless there's something I'm missing here. I had to CC a feature documentary on MC only once, and I'll never consent to do that again.

I'm assuming you must have a finishing color solution in mind that will allow you to call Avid's bluff. So do tell, what's the alternative to the Symphony color correction effect?

Best,
Shirley
