An MC/Sym mash-up with an improved CC tool and DVE tool would be. Plus it should

be capable of larger-than HD frame sizes. That would cover 90% or more of the

needs in your world. As well as most spots, indie films and corporate video.

Agreed. And getting back to Job's original point and off of DS, Symphony is

still the best tool for this. It's a good all-purpose tool, but it isn't

head-and-shoulders better than just MC in the current form.
