We're pretty quick turn around, not moving media among machines
much, so we copy AVC-Intra off the P2 cards to the Avid, link via
AMA and edit. When the program is done, transcode to DNx and
digital cut to tape -- all our stations here want tape based
deliverables.
Will the codec module do anything for this workflow? Play more
streams real time while editing? Allow digital cuts without
transcoding? Other?
Thanks; not clear on what the module does from reading the web site.
