Hi Gary,
I've contacted our engineers in our FX group as well as our FX QA group.
They've been comparing the various versions of Media Composer to see
what they think might be happening. I believe one of them has posted (or
will be posting) to Avid forum about this so you might want to monitor
what is being posted there.

You might take a look there; a user has posted 2 fixes, one with
Stabilize and another with BCC Optical Stabilize. When you say "we're
still checking" who is that exactly?
