I've read your articles on the subject Oliver and you know far more than I. So
your take on it is probably true. Since we have had limited exposure to the
camera.

I do that the monitor out on the camera does spit out 29.97 so this may have
been an assumption on my part since they lump that into a big list of supported
frame rates.

However I don't think 29.97/59.94 would be a very good application for the
Alexa. 23.98 over 60i would be a different story perhaps.

Very cool that the cards can handle ProRes slow motion now. It wasn't enabled in
early builds, at least from what we saw.

I think it's only P or PsF, though. Not sure if it actually records a 60 FIELD
interlaced "video-style" signal that isn't progressive at the imager. I could be
wrong on that, since the 3.0 firmware has just come out.

It can do up to 6Ofps to the SxS cards for slomo, but after 30fps, you can only
record ProResHQ and not ProRes4444.
