Have you used the Windows shortcuts to toggle to the desktop or other apps?
Window-D is the desktop
Alt+Tab toggles to other applications

Subject: [Avid-L2] MC v5.x
While we seem to be generating a "Please I can I have it back" list, 2 seemingly
small things that are gone in MC v5.x,
I can no longer minimize MC when doing a render, a long export or import. Use
to be nice to check emails or Squeeze during those times, but now you end up
with remnants of windows that you open stuck into the MC GUI until the function
is done and the 'puter does a refresh.
I've been bouncing a project back and forth between home and work and no matter
what I try, first thing I have to do is open up Video output settings and switch
it to get rid of everything looking blue. Both systems are hooked up component
and HDMI but it always defaults to composite. Trashed settings, trashed site
settings, made new settings in video out, still coming up blue.
