I'm actually an advocate of the MC behavior, allow me to trim, but leave the subclip in the bin alone. That way the application only does what I need it to do and what I'm asking it to do. If I really need a new subclip, I can make one.

I think Oliver is undoubtedly right that this issue has not been resolved (or even recognized as an issue) in the next "jaw dropping" release.

Better behavior?: "When I chose 'remove Subclip Limits', allow the trim

beyond the original subclip start/end and upon leaving trim mode modify

the start/end to the subclip to the new trimmed limits"
