Shouldn't you transcode in a 23.98 project and then bring those bins into a
59.94i project?
It is the way we handle 24p material from RED and other sources.
Thought that was the way the new motion adjustment effects work.
Not sure of any implications if you are doing a conform back to ArriRaw material
or if there is a quality reason to avoid that sort of thing.
In some cases I have had to go back into edited sequences with 23.98 material in
59.94 projects (or during cross converts) and adjust the pulldown cadence
through the motion effect editor to eliminate judder.

That wasn't what I did. I transcoded in a 59i project.
This was just a test but they are shooting with this camera soon.
Can the Alexa only shoot 24???

So if you link the Alexa stuff in a 23/24p project and transcode, then open the
transcoded files in a 59i project? Or was that what you were already doing?
