Shouldn't you transcode in a 23.98 project and then bring those bins into a 59.94i project? It is the way we handle 24p material from RED and other sources. Thought that was the way the new motion adjustment effects work. Not sure of any implications if you are doing a conform back to ArriRaw material or if there is a quality reason to avoid that sort of thing. In some cases I have had to go back into edited sequences with 23.98 material in 59.94 projects (or during cross converts) and adjust the pulldown cadence through the motion effect editor to eliminate judder.
