Agreed. And getting back to Job's original point and off of DS, Symphony is still the best tool for this. It's a good all-purpose tool, but it isn't head-and-shoulders better than just MC in the current form.

An MC/Sym mash-up with an improved CC tool and DVE tool would be. Plus it should be capable of larger-than HD frame sizes. That would cover 90% or more of the needs in your world. As well as most spots, indie films and corporate video.
