Careful there, Luca. If any new release of FCP accelerates in other markets what I have seen in this region (and I think many others have seen the same thing), you may want to back off the BS comments and learn the software. Most, if not all, the production/post-production houses in this region have gone over to FCP. In fact, it is really hard to find an Avid room to 4-wall for my workflow (spots, short form web material). I am sure the longer form broadcast cats are still making good use of their Avids, but for me (and others), a better and stable FCP is of great interest. Would I rather be on Avid? 24 months ago, I would have said "hell yes". Today my answer is "who cares?". There are editors I know learning FCP that I would NEVER had thought to make that leap. Career protection, I guess. Pretty sad if you look at it from Avid's POV.
