[Avid-L2] Re: FR:Subclip behavior was: New FCP? Hmmm.....

Pete -

In FCP: When extending the length of a subclip in the timeline: Your subclip will keep the same name, both in the timeline and bin. It just changes back to a copy of the original clip in the bin with the same IO points for the original subclip. This is when I extend in the timeline. If I were to do this from the browser, I would simply Remove Subclip Limits, move the outpoint and make another subclip. It ain't great, for sure as you end up with the original subclip, which is now a clip, the original clip and the new subclip. Oih!.

Haven't done it much because "takes" in my spot world are pretty cut and dry where they start and stop and I am pretty liberal with out points when subclipping other types of programs, Avid or FCP.
