[Avid-L2] Re: Aja Io Express vs Matrox MX02 Mini: Who wins?

The IOExpress has a 1 frame delay on downconverted secondary output... without compensation for audio sync unfortunately.

I bought one for current long-form FCP project and it's a good little box with that. I'll be trying it out with 5.5 once it's released.

Toying with coming back to Avid for the next project but I've certainly been swayed towards FCP on this one.. it's actually a great editing programme and the media management has been no problem at all.

And as we might use the KiPro Mini for capture then FCP will be a shoe-in.... (unless, of course, AJA offer DNXHD as an option in the near future... ;-)
