The problem would be solved if MC could use source-side filters like FCP. Also if these filters included a Log-C LUT, as exists for FCP. The RED source settings are the first step for MC, so hopefully it won't stop there. This will be essential if Avid intends to also integrate ARRIRAW into MC.
