[Avid-L2] GFcam trouble

 

Win XP / MC 5.0.3.7
Got a harddisk with copies of GFpacks, shot in HD 100Mb 50i.
Cam has had the latest patches, and works fine for SD.
However, on these (ama) HD files, i get a lot (read, every 5 clips) of
Consistency Error Check Failure (or something like that)
Making it impossible to play, consolitdate or transcode (what i want to do
since i'm on Adrenaline)

Files seem fine in VLC, although i don't particular trust the drive they
live on. (client has had tons of trouble with drives).

Besides writing my own routine to convert them to something playable,
anything i can do to club Avid into submission?
