Another PC option is Stepvoice Recorder. http://stepvoice.com
For a little program, it does rather well. It records directly to mp3.
A few of our correspondents have used it in the past for recording
scratch tracks in the field. In a pinch and in proper conditions, it
could definitely be used for air.
