Re: [Avid-L2] Re: AMA issues

Seq did not but I may have consolidated the AMA clips from the yellow bin. The clips are in two bins, one has .mov after each clip, one does not. I can get one bin to play normal but nothing relinks to the seq. I will have to replace by hand.

When you go about reimporting the clips are they clips that are the entire length of the original source? I've seen this behavior over the years when AEs give imported clips reel names and then the Avid treats them like a tape source which ends up messing up in points and the fit to fill like speed up of the clip on reimport. This was before ama but it sure sounds like the same type of confusion. Did the sequence get consolidated at some point?

I went to batch import and Avid would not see them. I had to manually reselect each clip and batch import it. But the shots are all wrong and the clips, which are quite long in raw form, are coming in high speed. What could cause that to happen. Frustrating as this was a finished piece and now a very large bin of media is all screwed up.
