Not to shoot you, and not that I expect you to know the answers, but
if the codec still has all the same compression as the SR 440 signal
that you record to tape then why would I spend the money on this? Why
not just record to tape? They need an SSD that does uncompressed.
From the sounds of it I would be better off with a Codex or S.Two.
