I had the same error message happen to me yesterday. I'm on 5.0.3 (Mac)
I restarted the computer, no other programs running - same error. Did some web searches but couldn't find a solution. Figured I might have to do a re-install. But today, when I opened Avid for the first time, Audio Suite loaded with no problem.
This is the stuff that drives people insane!
