Re: [Avid-L2] Re: bus thread error

For what its worth, are you using a good amount of mixed or off rate material in your sequences?

The only time (yet) that I have found the system to Bus Error that often was when previously rendered motion effects would become corrupt after becoming partially unrendered because of trimming. It didn't really show up if there was one or two, but after several clips in the sequence becoming only partially rendered, the system would repeatedly crash, sometimes in a matter of minutes.

In the end, we had to delete all the renders (motion effects included), and only rerender what was necessary for normal playback.
