Lou,

Locate the "Avid FatalErrorReports" folder on your Mac. It should be in
Users/Shared/AvidMediaComposer

Zip up the entire folder and send it to me.

Subject: [Avid-L2] bus thread error

Just wondering if any of you guys at Avid who check the list can weigh
in on this "Bus Thread error" situation? I can say for myself, it
happens exclusively when I am deleting or moving clips in the timeline.
That should be some kind of clue. Doesn't matter what drives are
attached, or how many times I uninstall and install MC 5 or what version
I have. I always save now before I touch anything in the timeline. But I
can be sure I will crash a few times an hour with this error. This has
been around for several versions and I'm curious if it is any kind of
priority with the Engineers? It's really getting old.
