I'd use it to get clips into AE, then export the finished piece for import to
/AMA into Avid. Using Premiere only as a EDL/media transfer tool. (Sorry, Wes).
And it looks extremely easy to do.

That seems to be the possibility. However coming back would just be a
rendered clip as the AE effects would not survive the ride. I suspect
they may be more focused on sending a cut started on one platform to the
other.
