IIRC someone a while back posted the the main thread buss error was a bit of a catch all error that could be caused by a number of things. Perhaps someone can shed some light on the nature of a buss thread error. I've seen it even on my older Imac system 10.4.11 mcsoft 3.1.3 especially when I'm shuttling using jkl on a source clip. I always attributed that to a disk access issue but I'm just guessing.
