Unfortunately that's where most of these things die - at the "potential" stage - when reality strikes. Even within the same company. For example, Premiere Pro CS5 includes the Ultra keyer - one of the best. Yet, you can't use the same plug-in inside After Effects. Plug-ins that works well and with custom GUIs in After Effects, like Colorista II, are real dogs in Premiere Pro - if they work at all.
