[Avid-L2] New Patches Now Available 5.0.0.1/9.0.0.1

Patches for MC 5.0.0.1 and Newscutter 9.0.0.1 are now available at the patch download center: http://www.avid.com/US/support/downloads/patches/disclaimer

The patches fix the following issues:

Bug Number: UDevC00143339. You might have received "Access violations" when you encountered low memory situations. This has been fixed

Bug Number: UDevC00143377. You could not perform a transcode between similar DNxHD resolutions using different frame rates. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143314. (With ISIS v2.2) Playing back a 2:1 9-way Multicam sequence resulted in an "Exception: Bus Thread" error. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143723. FilmScribe settings were not saved between sessions. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143392. When selecting Solo/Mute on the Control surface multiple times, the Audio Mixer window would turn a solid color and become unresponsive.This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143709. You might have experienced problems with sound when applying volume settings using the keyframe (volume automation). Sometimes the automation would be ignored for the duration of the last frame on the clip. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143469. (Symphony Nitris) Rendering an effect or importing an AC3 file might have crashed the system. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143339. You might have received "Access violations" when you encountered low memory situations. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143221. (Symphony Nitris) You might have received render errors when trying to render multiple nested or stacked effects. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143369. (Macintosh Symphony DVD) The "Other Installers" folder did not contain the AvidCodecsPE installer. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143288. You might have received Access violation errors when performing an audio punch-in. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143715. If you selected the Audio Suite Plug-in tool before creating a sequence, the editing application would crash. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143450. You could not drag and drop a second clip onto the Timeline if the sequence included a D-track. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143506. An "Avid Debug" effect appeared in the Effect palette. This is for development use only and has been removed from the Effect palette.

Bug Number: UDevC00143404. Transcoding a sequence across frame rates prior toconverting to the current play rate resulted in a "PMM_INSUFFICIENT_MEDIA" error.This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143507. Transcoding audio clips containing Pan Volume effects across frame rates did not remove motion adapter effects. This has been fixed.

Bug Number: UDevC00143038. A memory leak was fixed when you cancelConsolidate/Transcode when you use the Sony PDW-U1 device.

Bug Number: UDevC00143829. You should no longer receive an error when you select Get Info on RED clips in the Source monitor.
