That was always my concern with AMA too.

I've just done a very basic test... I converted a couple of clips to DNxHD
36, edited a sequence with them and then decomposed a duplicate of the
sequence. I was then able to relink the sequence (edited from Transcoded
DNxHD material) to the AMA-link H.264 audio, there is a "by source file
name" option which it tracks now, even through transcodes, so that seems to
be the key thing.

I've just published my review of Media Composer 5, it's like 3,000 words and
still probably misses a lot... But overall it's the most excited I've been
with an Avid upgrade... Is that weird?
