you are doing an unnecessary step by using clipbrowser. just simply "ama link" the ex camera footage folder from within mc5 and start cutting immediately. no media duplication and is direct to edit.

We have run into a problem with MC5 and EX media and I wanted to see if anyone else has.

We create the mxf clips in the Sony EX browser software. When we import the clips in to MC5, it generates a fatal error at the end of the import of each clip. The weird thing is if you continue through the error and the next window, the clip shows up in the bin and we have no further issues with it. Makes batch importing a hassle though because you get the error at the end of each clip.
