[Avid-L2] OT: Online file storage - Dropbox.com

I may be telling some of you how to suck eggs with this, but I've only very
recently discovered DropBox.com which is, so far, completely fantastic!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I personally tend to carry around
3-4 USB memory stick with a variety of helpful files on them... Fonts,
textures, reference documents, technincal manuals, templates, Avid user
settings... All sorts... I've now shifted most of these files to DropBox.com
which gives me 2GB of free online storage, and a very well integreated
client for my computers. I can access it from any web-connected computer and
easily grab files and need, and drop others into it.

It's http://dropbox.com/ (or if you prefer
https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTc3ODM1NjE5 which will give me a little
extra storage credit).

Among other things I'm setting up a shared folder between myself and some
other local editors with handy resources we all use (tech specs, etc) -
seems like a fantastic solution, and cuts down the number of USB sticks I'm
carrying around (now I only have the one with my various portable apps on
it).
