[Avid-L2] Best way to downconvert from 1080p to 30i?

Hello List.
I'm writing because I've started to online a show that is originally shot on
XDCAM EX1 1080p 23.976 and needs to be mastered on Digital Betacam 30i
full-height anamorphic.

I downconverted everything to 1:1 10bit SD to start the color correction,
everything looks fine, the only thing I see is interlace twitter in diagonal
lines, and sometimes it's a little distracting.

Is there any way to tell Media Composer to do a smoother donwscaling?
Does someone has any recommendation?
