OK, I captured into 720p 23.98 project. Media is playing back slo mo as expected (regardless of whether Preserve Varicam Frames is checked or unchecked). I exported a QT Ref and tried importing into 59.94. I get a white screen. Upon checking the QT Ref files in QT player, they also come up as white frames. The other odd thing is that in the QT inspector, the movie is coming up as DVCPro PAL with frame rate of 23.98. Could this be a missing codec?

If it is under (slow-motion end result), then you need to capture at the
base frame rate (23.976p) project format with the Preserve Varicam Frames
active, then export a QT Ref file and import it in the 59.94p project.
