dpi is pretty much irrelevant in video. Pixel size is what's important. a 1920x1080 image should be identical, video quality wise at 300dpi or 72dpi.

Are you sure Avid works this way? I thought (and I could well be
wrong...) that dpi was irrelevant in Avid.
