I know several folks doing longform 35mm film on FCP. I haven't heard them
complain that much.

I think he did his reseach (Edgar's rather tech savvy and far from
ignorant), but as you may remember from the ACE survey, not every editor
gets to pick their system of choice on every gig, and still needs to make a
living.
