Re: [Avid-L2] OT: Hummingbirds

Phantom training is pretty intensive. I'm trying to get trained on it. I hear it's very cinema like in it's look.

Yeah humming birds are cool. I have some video of a mom and her chicks on my facebook site.

Nothing like a 'high end' PBS documentary that spent a lot time and money with Phantom camera, then didn't even bother to adjust the chroma key from it's default settings during post. You can tweak those things FCP people.

My Mum liked it and I thought some of your Mums might too.

I just received this video and it is very fascinating and
informative...these little critters move so fast, we can't make out
much before they fly away at phenomenal speeds.

Tedious work, I'm sure to make a film like this, but they said it
was well worth it.Here an excerpt from PBS-NATURE featuring pictures
that a wildlife cinematographer took of the secret life of
hummingbirds. The photographer uses a high speed computer
controlled camera called the Phantom scope and also a "boroscope"
that can put the camera's lens right into a flower to watch the
little guy's feeding !

(The video is available in High Definition, be sure to adjust to
720p resolution with full screen)
