With a Classic, you can't go higher than an 8400. You can't do Universal mastering in HD. You can't do "preserve metadata which is apparently improved in 5.0. You can't do 4:4:4 I/O, and based on what we heard at NAB, we don't even know if you will be able to handle 4:4:4 at all.
Of course the trade-off is that you have to render almost everything on DX where Classic had a solid two streams of HD RT.
