I read the second Wilson article (about the Rolling Shutter problem) with a sinking feeling, Terry, but I guess there's always hope:
" This was the circled take, and it appears in the final project. It screened in a local film festival and nobody noticed the roll bars. We got lucky."
Steve, I checked out the recipe for faking spot correction in your book--so I may give that a try with the shortest usable clip. Maybe some of the suggestions for the Rolling Shutter problem might work. I'd be happy to provide footage for any beta tester, but for the trailer I'm cutting right now, I think I'll just be creative.
