Thanks. In reality, I'm cutting this in FCP, which reads the correct names. So, I'm OK for the edit. I'm just trying to figure out why AMA (and Adobe, for that matter) is reading it wrong. The problem is not that the ClipName is wrong - in fact it is correct - but rather that Avid is only reading the UserClipName (when present) and not both. I'll have to test the other way to see if the same is true that way.
