Just came back from a week in Haiti to update a fundraising film for a
non-profit that I did last year. XDCam, and started editing on Avid on
my laptop on the plane on the way back - just to get the Avid related
plug in there...
Anyway, the interest has waned a bit with the time, but if you haven't
visited the lists Haiti Relief links, please do so. If you want more
about the non-profit I was working for who is also doing very good work
in Haiti, it's here:

They purchased a little Sony HDV camera and tried to use it themselves
for the first round, then hired me to come in and do it right. They
were amazed at the pictures I got out of their camera when their footage
looked like crap. I was amazed a how well the $900 handi-cam matched
the EX3 I normally use for this run-and-gun stuff.
