Apogee Electronics Corporation, a leading manufacturer of digital audio hardware products and related accessories for audio professionals and musicians around the world, seeks an experienced, driven and enthusiastic Customer Technical Support and Pre Sales Supervisor. The position is based at the head office in Santa Monica, CA and reports to the Director of Sales Worldwide. The supervisor performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to customer relations, team administration support and the efficient integration of customer-generated information into the company database.

This customer base requires a quick response to questions arising from today's highly technical system integration demands. We are looking for a person with a leadership capacity to run our worldwide `first' response customer support team.
Skills required:
- Call center supervisory experience preferably in the professional audio field
- Extensive knowledge of analog and digital audio recording systems
- Experience in recording studios, sound reinforcement and/or audio post production
- In-depth knowledge of Apple Mac OSX and Core Audio applications such as Logic and GarageBand. Additional working knowledge of Final Cut Pro a plus
- Working knowledge of Avid's ProTools
- Strong understanding of Apple applications such as Numbers, Pages, Mail and iWork
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Office
- Experience in CRM and or ERP software
- Strong working knowledge of database platforms
Additional skills:
- Although not required, guitar or any instrument players are a plus!
