[Avid-L2] Ingest 1080P 24 from a SRW -5500

Hi Guys - PLEASE HELP...

We have a HD CAM tape that has a program on it that is in the 1080P 23.98 mode.

We're trying to ingest it into our HD MC vers 3.5.9 from a Sony SRW 5500 deck. We created a new Avid project, in the 1080P/23.976 mode, and we also changed, via 'ADJUST DECK' (using the pulldown on the Capture tool screen)the deck to a SRW-5500 24P. It HAS deck control.
When we attemp to capture. we're prompted with the error message:

"The Automatic Source is not connected. Please connect it or change inputs"

Any ideas on what we're missing or not doing right ?
