[Avid-L2] Does anyone know what the DXDriverx64.exe and FlameThrowerDriverx64.exe file are

I've just downloaded the 4.0.5.6 patch, and found these files. I can't seem to find any information on these two files in the readme. Does anyone have the documentation that explains what these file are for, and what issues they fix?
