perhaps a mixdown?
No idea how the CC data is encrypted in HD, but i guess rendering can make
it go away.
(QT export / import might also be an alternative)

Bouke (who is very much against removing obscenities from subtitles or CC.
If the sound is beeped afterwards in a revision, the subs / CC should tell
that to keep in context....)

I negelected to mention that I was refering to HD,
and yes Terry, I agree, in SD the method you described (I believe a top crop
in Resize set at + 10 nails it) works like a chapm at removing CC.

Any ideas on HD ??
