They had a 'proper' Steenbeck controller (actually made by Steenbeck
IIRC). As an ex-film editor very familiar with Steenbecks, I didn't
like the clunky control (designed to control a bloody great electric
motor) and soon went for JKL or Jog and Shuttle in Media Composer.
Also, the box was about 3 inches high - great for RSI!
