As much as I would love to take credit Media Composer 5, it takes a few
hundred people to get a release this great out the door. I'm only one of
four designers -- not including people like Michael Phillips who step in and
design critical pieces of the application from time to time.

It goes beyond the development team. It's cultural. Gary, Kirk, and the
people they hired have changed the tone and raised the energy level.
Everyone between the CEO position and my position has changed since I've
joined the company two tears ago. That's the difference. There's a lot of
new blood here, and a lot of the old blood has been empowered to do the cool
stuff they've always wanted to do. You know a lot of the names -- Michel
Rynderman, Rob Gonsalves, Jeremy Kezer, and others who have been members of
the L community. There are scores more who stay off the lists and forums.

Thanks for the kind words and support. We're firing on all cylinders now,
but we still got a lot to do.
