I agree. There's already a little humor in the Audio Suite plugins
with the "Funk Logic Mastererizer" -- http://i39.tinypic.com/21zin4.jpg
Why not a little fun on the editing side?
For the record, I like (and agree with) the updated lift & extract
icons . . . however, it would be really "cool" and "hip" to offer the
user the ability to go "old skool" if they wanted to. It could be a
selection in the Composer settings or the Interface settings for
"Retro Lift/Extract Icons."
I bet if I poked around in the resources the icons are still there. I
remember doing just that many years ago and seeing some super old
icons hanging around.
