Re: [Avid-L2] A little trip down Avid memory lane

When I sat down at the Avid for the first time on X-FilesI didn't even own a computer of my own. Older editors where warning me how I would hate it. Blah blah. With 2 gig shoe box sized hard drives and all I was really impressed. Within minutes of "feeling my way "editing"I was sold that this was "IT". By the end of the week I was making everyone look at this wonder. Memory lane indeed.

Absolutely wonderful. I could read about this sort of stuff all day long.

Back then, did these guys realise what an impact they'd have on the

world of film and television, I wonder?

Thanks for posting.
