Also I expect the demo versions being shown are the last stable beta that rolled out and would imagine the development team have further progressed but less stable versions.
Hopefully this is just a Beta hiccup and we'll see that customisation and more in the final release version.
Be a shame if it took on so much FCPness that it threw out the great.
