So basically it was used to create the material, but all the cutting
was done in DNxHD36, and all the preview screening were done with H264
Quicktime at 1080p. At the end of the edit, we reactivated AMA (I only
deactivated it because it made my Avid crash on launch every morning,
and also it was leaving log files all over my home folder), relinked
the final sequence (6 reels, 1 hour 50min in total) and exported it as
TiFF for grading. Grading was done on a Specter Thomson, which is a
machine developed and owned by Eclair Labs here in Paris. It's a 4K
grading machine, linked to a 4K projector. It was developed to prepare
DCP files and 35mm shoots. The finishing for the HD version was
tweaked on Lustre.
