Just for the record: this is incorrect. Would be nice if it were true, but
it is not.
MC Adrenaline was named version "Media Composer Adrenaline 1". At that time
there was still a line of Meridien systems at versions 11 and 12.
MC-Soft was only introduced at version 2.5 (counting from MCA 1), in June
2006. The introduction of MC-Soft (separately from hardware and without any
addition to the name) accumulated the "problem" of the version numbers.
